Metro Cafe Diner... is awesome in a 1980's neon-retro sort of way.

The food is alright, the bar is a loser, and I have no idea who regularly comes here on a nightly basis that would constitute the need for having karaoke available EVERY night of the week.

On the night I went with Leah F., Rick & Amanda W. - we ran the Karaoke Mic. When you can easily sing 4 or five songs without a serious wait, then you know that this is your night to sing everything you ever wanted and anything that you really shouldn't.

However, as the bar filled up with regular folks who were definitely not there to hear or sing karaoke, it only became more fun - As Amanda W. belts out a song by Danzig, Rick dedicates Fat Bottom Girls to all the 'large broads', and I end the night butchering Wilson Phillips song - Hold On -

You know we had a great night but that's because we made it happen.

This place is awesome if you are in the right mood......the mood for KARAOKE!

they proudly offer karaoke 7 nights a week, and over 35000 songs, so claims the KJ....yes the karaoke jockeys are called KJs.

The diner part is OK, they have all of the typical fare, but i was in the mood for ziti,.  Diner-food typically falls flat when it comes to pasta dishes, but this above average for...diner-food.Still better than Italian Chain restaurant ziti.

I would certainly assume that the stuff that "greasy spoons" are known for, they excel at doing.

They have an awesome collection of cakes and deserts. Anyplace that puts cakes on display on a rotating platform must take pride in their work.

They also have something called  a "coca-cola cake"...i will try it next time and update this review.

The decor is straight out of the 80's, with mirrors and neon lighting. It might be kinda cheesy, but it adds to its charm.

Make no mistake the star here at the metro is the Karaoke!

Absolutely love this place!!! Stayed in Atlanta for a convention and stayed at the Sheraton down the street.  This place was packed every night and they have Karaoke!!!  The food was awesome as well.  Really cheap food, full bar, and they have everything on their menu.  You can order breakfast or dinner at any hour of the day.  This is a great late night spot, open 24 hours!  I went there 4 nights in a row and it was great, everyone should go by there and check it out if you're in the area.

One of the few 24-hr places in downtown where you can get decent food. Prices are decent ($10-15). Menu is massive.  I had a pretty good chicken sandwich with bell peppers last time.
