I took my SAAB in for front end work and I was not impressed with the repair work or the customer service.  After 2 months my front end work needed to be redone.  The gentleman I spoke with didn't make me feel comfortable and wasn't as helpful as most mechanics have been.  Since I'm not a mechanic and am ignorant to what needed to be done to my car I was disappointed with the way I was spoken to and I felt I was ripped off.  Bottom line, I should have taken my car somewhere else. I do not recommend this business.

I took my car here for several years and really liked these guys.  Marc is a really nice guy, and they're very honest and have great prices on repairs.  They're good with Volvos, but they don't specialize in them, so they don't have the equipment to do everything on them, but they're fine for normal maintenance.  

They're very up-front about what absolutely needs to be repaired and what can wait, and they also are really honest about using OEM parts vs. used or after-market parts.  (They defer to the cheaper parts, but won't use them if they've had bad experiences with them before.)  

A HUGE plus is that they're about a quarter mile from the Avondale MARTA station, so you don't need to hunt a friend down to give you a ride.

I also went here on a friend's rec, and have been going back ever since.  Without being asked, they offer to find used/refurbished parts, including used glass.  I've never had a bill be more than the estimate, often less.

Went here on yelp's advice and was totally satisfied. Better quote than other places and they didn't treat me like an idiot just because I know nothing about cars and am a girl. They were very busy so I didn't get my repair done instantly, but I feel like I throughly know the staff at this point and trust them, which is important.

Probably the MOST honest auto shop I have ever been to. They do the work fast, do it well, and they charge at a decent rate. Let's face it, getting your car costs a lot, but you don't want someone who will just arbitrarily charge you an arm and a leg. I was referred to this place by a good friend, and it was an excellent referral. I couldn't ask for more from a auto repair place; they will even tell you what must be done, and what can wait. I have never had an experience like that before! AND the price to fix my car came in UNDER what they quoted. I will always take my car to this place if it needs to be fixed. Always.

I have taken my car to Summit a few times after I got an unsolicited recommendation ("You have a Volvo?! You *must* go to Summit!"). They are honest, friendly, and inexpensive. They often give you an option -- fix something or leave it, or to use parts they might have on-hand versus buying new Bosch parts. They work on many european and japanese models as well as american. Marc, the shop owner, is really a detective. Their shop rate is reasonable and they charge by the quarter hour.
